The owners of CHALET244, George and Ingrid, are a British / Belgium couple who gained their hotel experience on Lake Garda in Italy; and have brought this cosmopolitan atmosphere to their new venture. Both of them are happy to converse in English, French, Dutch, Italian or German and offer a fresh look to a typical Savoyard chalet. They both hope that you will be as impressed with Morzine as what they are.

George was, until recently, the only British instructor among 150 with the Ecole de Ski Francais, the local French ski school in Morzine. After teaching skiing for many years in Italy and France, he is happy to give advice on all aspects of ski tuition within the school and the general ski area of the Portes du Soleil

Ingrid used to have her own estate agency business and now works freelance for Knight Frank www.mountain-base.com which has its central office based on Rue De Bourg, near the old town of Morzine.
